How Do I Fix Microstuttering and Late Texture Loading in Games?

I've been struggling with an incredibly frustrating issue on my PC that's been taking up more than 10 hours of troubleshooting time. Most of the games I play, like Red Dead 2, Hitman 3, and Jedi: Fallen Order, are plagued by microstutters that happen every 30-60 seconds. To make matters worse, textures and assets are loading late, often popping in right in front of me. I thought upgrading to a Samsung 990 Pro SSD would help with asset streaming delays, but it hasn't solved anything. Here's a rundown of my specs, including my monitor, a 32-inch MSI curved display running at 160Hz 4K, all connected via a 1.4 display cable. Can anyone help me figure out why this is happening and how to fix it?

Ensure that your RAM XMP profile is set to 5200 MHz in the BIOS and that you have the latest BIOS version installed. Also, consider dropping your refresh rate to 144Hz – that’s the max for DisplayPort 1.4 at 4K, especially if HDR is on. Since you’re using a powerful CPU and GPU combo, your 850W power supply might be on the lower side; it may not be the cause, but it’s worth checking under load to see if it’s hitting max capacity. Use HWInfo to monitor CPU and GPU usage to catch any bottlenecks, and keep an eye on temperatures to avoid thermal throttling.

Thanks for your response, man! I do have XMP and the latest motherboard update. I’m running at 120Hz capped at 117fps in NVCP, but still no luck. My GPU runs at around 90-97% and the CPU peaks at 55-60%. Temperatures look good; the CPU hits a max of 80 degrees and the GPU around 65. The frames are usually stable until they drop quickly to 30-60, and that’s when the stuttering kicks in.

First things first, check your %LOCALAPPDATA%/NVIDIA/DXCache folder. If it’s getting close to the shader cache size you set in the NVIDIA Control Panel (NVCP), try changing that committed space to 100GB or set it to unlimited. That might help with the stuttering issue. Let me know if that works!
