I've noticed that GitHub Education is making some changes that affect students by stopping access to certain AI models like Claude Opus and Claude Sonnet, as well as ChatGPT 5.3 and 5.4. As a student, I previously had an intern who was helping me with my work, but these changes could complicate things for me. I'm looking for suggestions on effective coding models that can manage context from previous chats and help me code logically and accurately. I'm a bit lost and would appreciate any advice!

If those models were really useful for your intern work, consider upgrading to a paid version that keeps those features. It's likely worth the investment if it boosts your productivity!
Unfortunately, it seems like the era of free AI tools is fading. AI is getting more expensive to maintain, and now that you’ve seen the value it brings, you might have to consider paying for these services. They do enhance productivity!
I totally get that. I'm in the middle of developing a SaaS startup that’s still in its freemium stage. Those tools have been incredibly helpful for me, so I’m also hunting for alternatives!
