I recently applied for a job and the employer sent an email that I apparently never received. They showed me a screenshot of the email, which is associated with an Apple ID. I usually use my Apple ID for signing in, but I don't recall setting up any email for it. When I checked iCloud, it prompted me to set up an email, which got me even more confused. What should I do?

In most cases, Apple accounts come with an iCloud email address. You might have one you didn’t even realize existed. Check your iCloud settings for more info!
You might be using Sign In with Apple. Try going to Settings, tap on your name, and find 'Sign In with Apple'. There, you should see the email you provided to the employer and any forwarding email linked to it. If it’s a hidden email, that might explain the confusion.
Remember, your Apple ID is generally your email address. Apple phased out non-email Apple IDs quite a while ago, so make sure you’re using one that’s active.
It sounds like you're using an email that you don’t actually control as your Apple ID. Double-check with the employer that they have your correct email address and ask them to resend the email to one that you know you can access.
