Why Does My Child’s iPad Keep Asking for a Password to Update Apps?

I have two kids under 13 with their own child accounts on Apple devices. Recently, I've noticed that my youngest's iPad prompts me for their Apple ID password every single time we update an app. In contrast, my oldest can update all their apps in one go and sometimes it doesn't even ask for the password at all. I have Screen Time enabled, but I can't figure out why there's such a difference between the two accounts. Is this a setting issue or something else?

You might want to check the settings under Screen Time and navigate to Content & Privacy Restrictions. From there, go to iTunes & App Store Purchases and make sure it's set to ‘don’t require’ for passwords. That usually helps.

I've already set that option, but it still keeps asking for the password each time. Any other ideas?
