A few days ago, during a heated moment, my mom unplugged my computer from the wall while it was still running. My computer itself seems fine and everything is plugged back in, but my monitor won't turn on at all. I've double-checked everything, but I'm stuck and could really use some advice. I'm not very tech-savvy, so any help would be appreciated! Thanks for reading, and I hope everyone's having a great day!

First thing you should try is completely unplugging the monitor from both the wall and the computer. Wait for about a minute before plugging it back in. Sometimes a sudden power cut leaves the monitor in a weird state, and a full reset can help. Also, make sure the cable connecting your monitor to the computer is secure on both ends; those tend to come loose easily!

And don't forget to check for an on/off button on the monitor itself! If you have another screen, it’s worth testing to see if the connection works there.
