Why Doesn’t My Phone Show a Moisture Warning After Water Spilled in the USB Port?

I accidentally spilled water into my phone's USB port while messing around with a plastic glove filled with water. After realizing what happened, I powered off my phone but plugged it into the charger shortly after, and surprisingly, it didn't short circuit or display any moisture warning. Does anyone know why that might be?

Honestly, why do we do these things? Water in the USB port and then you plug it in? Yikes! If you don't see or hear any water now, that's good, but just be careful in the future. No more wild experiments!

You seriously thought charging it right after getting water in there was a good idea? That's risky! Usually, if water gets in, the phone should give a warning, but it's possible the water didn't reach the sensitive parts, or maybe it evaporated quickly. Just keep an eye on it! Trying to let it dry out for a bit would be a safer move.

You might have just been lucky that the water didn’t stay on the contact pins, so no warnings showed up. Definitely not the best plan to plug it in that soon, though! Better safe than sorry—let it dry completely before using it again.
