Need Help Deciding on GPU and Monitor for My Build

I recently bought a GPU-less setup with the intention of pairing it later with a powerful GPU to fully utilize my R7 9700X. Unfortunately, the prices for GPUs and RAM have skyrocketed due to the AI boom, and now the options within my budget are much lower performing than I initially hoped. I was considering a 9070XT before the price increase, but now I'm leaning towards a 9060XT, although ideally, I'd prefer a 9070 non-XT, or possibly looking at used options like the 3080Ti or 6900XT.

Another issue I didn't think about is my monitor. I currently have a 180Hz 1080p IPS display, which isn't going to do justice to the new setup.

I need some advice on:
1. Which GPU to choose (I'm open to other recommendations)?
2. The order in which I should make my purchases - like whether to buy a 1440p monitor with a 6800XT, or get the 9070 first and consider a QD OLED later.

I'm feeling lost as these inflated prices are really frustrating; it seems like everything's just overpriced without a real reason. Oh, and I'm based in Egypt, so prices here are usually 1.3x to 2x more than in the US and EU markets!

Why not consider the 6900XT or 6950XT for 1440p? They're still solid performers at ultra settings, hitting around 100fps, unless you're getting into raytracing. It’s interesting how prices vary so much in Egypt; the QD OLED might feel like a stretch but could be worth it down the line if finances allow.

I get the struggle, especially with prices being outrageous. It might seem like overspending if you pair an older card with your R7 9700X, but the 6900XT can definitely hold its own. Just be cautious of those prices, as they seem inflated everywhere, including here! Maybe wait on the QD OLED until you upgrade your GPU.

I'd suggest going with the 9060XT, given current prices. As for the monitor, it might be best to hold off until you've secured the GPU. That way, you can make a more informed choice based on what GPU you ultimately decide on.
