Why isn’t my PC posting after a CMOS reset?

Hey everyone, I'm having some trouble with my PC after attempting to do a CMOS reset. Here's my setup: I'm running Windows 11 on a Ryzen 9 5950x CPU with an MSI 5090 Gaming Trio GPU. I've got 32GB of 3600MHz DDR4 RAM on an MSI B550 Tomahawk motherboard, powered by a Super Flower Leadex VIII Platinum PRO 1200W PSU. After using the 'Memory Try It!' feature in the BIOS, my system won't post—I've got fans spinning and lights on, but the screen remains blank. I've tried shorting the BIOS reset pins and removing the battery, but nothing worked. I've also reseated the RAM, GPU, and power cables. The display cables and monitor are confirmed working, and the PCIe slot looks fine. The VGA light is red, which is puzzling. Could there be an issue with my motherboard, GPU, or RAM?

Sounds like you've done a lot of troubleshooting already. I recommend trying to boot with just one stick of RAM while keeping the GPU installed. Sometimes a bad stick can cause these issues, and this will help isolate the problem.

Make sure that you're not trying to boot with the wrong BIOS settings after the reset. If you have a spare PSU, it might also be worth testing that out—sometimes power issues can cause similar symptoms.
