I'm considering a slight upgrade because my current laptop, a 2016 Intel MacBook Pro with 16GB RAM, has been running some slicer software and web-based drawing apps quite slowly. I'm curious if a modern Apple Silicon MacBook with only 8GB of RAM would provide a better performance despite having less RAM. Would the technological advancements in the new MacBooks make a significant difference?
