I was all set to buy the Crucial P5 Plus 2TB Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD with heatsink, but it's out of stock now. I'm looking for an alternative that has the same specs, heatsink, and quality. Can anyone recommend a comparable SSD? I'm not very experienced with this kind of shopping, so any help is appreciated!

You might want to check out the Crucial P310 2TB, which is available on Amazon for around $290. Just a heads up, Crucial has stopped restocking their drives, so once they’re sold out, that’s it. If you’re looking for something under $275-290, the other brands out there don’t provide good speed compared to the P5 Plus. There’s also the Crucial T710 available for $324; if your CPU and motherboard support PCIe 5.0, it can reach speeds up to 14.5GB/s.
Quick question, do you really need a heatsink? And how crucial are the speed specs for you?
