Why is my PC’s Wi-Fi connection so weak compared to other devices?

I've been using my ASUS PC for about two years with an Ethernet connection, but after moving to a new house, I'm facing a frustrating Wi-Fi issue. My PC only gets one bar of Wi-Fi strength even though my phone sits right next to it and has a great connection. When I tested the speed, my PC only hit 2 Mbps, which is really underwhelming. I've checked for updates on my Wi-Fi drivers with Windows, and I've even installed the latest from Intel, but nothing seems to solve the problem. I'm hoping someone can help me troubleshoot or suggest ways to boost my connection since running Ethernet cables isn't practical in this place. Thanks!

First off, what Wi-Fi adapter are you using on your ASUS PC? Also, how close is it to your router?

I'm using the Intel 6 AX201. The router is just below me, and since it's a small house, I usually have three bars on my phone and work laptop.
