Hi everyone! I've been having some issues with my laptop's keyboard after it was accidentally exposed to water. Some keys aren't inputting the correct letters or numbers, and occasionally, it keeps typing the same letter over and over again. I'm thinking about uninstalling the keyboard from the device manager to see if that helps. I noticed that when I plug in my external keyboard, there are four options listed as HID keyboard devices. However, when I unplug it, one of those options disappears, leaving me with three HID keyboard entries. How can I tell which ones I should uninstall?

Remember, as long as the device is still connected, Windows will continue to see it. If your laptop isn’t too old, you might consider having someone replace the keyboard, especially if you're not comfortable taking it apart. If it’s older and the cost is a concern, maybe put that towards a new laptop. In the meantime, you can just use the external keyboard as long as you're not using the built-in one.
The keyboard needs to dry out properly, so I wouldn’t recommend removing the drivers just yet. Just give it some time!
