Hey everyone! I'm new to gaming PCs and I have a budget of around £1000. I'm hoping to build a PC that can handle 240+ fps in competitive games like Fortnite, Valorant, Rocket League, and even Minecraft. It's also important that it runs smoothly for my university work and general tasks. I'm planning to use performance mode rather than max settings. I've done some research and I'm considering the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D or the Ryzen 7 7700X based on benchmarks. However, I'm a bit stuck on choosing the right GPU since prices vary a lot. Any advice would be hugely appreciated!

For a £1000 budget, you might want to look into the NVIDIA RTX 4060. Check out websites like Logical Increments for various recommendations depending on your needs.
Thanks for the suggestions! Quick question though—I've heard it's better to go with NVIDIA GPUs for streaming. If I'm just doing it for fun and playing at 1080p, should I invest more in a 4060 or is the RX 9060 XT enough?
