I'm embarking on my first ever PC build and I've already selected some components. I'm a bit new to this whole process, so I'd really appreciate any advice on whether my choices are good or if I need to make any changes. Here's the link to my parts list: [PCPartPicker List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/DN8VYX)

Are you located in the US? Any chance you’re near a Micro Center store?

I'm in the US, but unfortunately, there's no Micro Center nearby.

Your parts will work well for 1080p/1440p gaming! Just a tip, I recommend getting an anti-sag bracket for your GPU—it's only around ten bucks. Also, be aware that the NVME drive with its stock heatsink might conflict with your motherboard's heatsink, which could look a bit messy. If you ever want to repurpose that drive, it could be tricky if the heatsink is stuck on, so keep that in mind. If you use the second NVME slot on your MSI B550 Gaming Plus, you'll get PCI 3.0 speeds instead, but you'll have to weigh that against how you'd like your setup to look.

Oh, I didn’t realize motherboards had heatsinks too! That bracket sounds like a good idea. Thanks for clarifying!

Your power supply seems a bit overkill at 850W for the 9060XT, but it looks like you're planning for future upgrades, which is smart. Just curious, what are your main use cases for this build?

Thanks for the input! I went with the 850W because I wasn't sure what wattage to get. I think I’ll be good with the current case, though.
