Is it worth switching from a Samsung S22 Ultra to an iPhone 14 or 15 Pro?

I've been using my Samsung S22 Ultra for around three years, and while it was great at first, I'm facing some major issues now. The phone overheats constantly, even during simple tasks like video calls, and it thermal throttles which prevents me from using the camera at all. The battery life is awful too, giving me only about 2.5 to 3 hours of screen time. Carrying a charger has become a hassle, and I'm worried about the heat. I'm considering switching to an iPhone 14 Pro or Pro Max, or maybe even the 15, but I know it's not a huge upgrade. The reason I'm not looking at newer models or different brands like Oppo or Nothing Phone is that I can't afford them and there's practically no support for those brands in my country. I'd really appreciate any advice on whether this switch is a good idea.

I understand your concerns, but just so you know, many people in my family have used several higher-tier Samsung phones, and they haven’t experienced the same issues as you. It might not be as common as you think!

But to be fair, I've had similar struggles. After the latest Android update, my phone has slowed down dramatically, despite trying various settings to optimize it. I used to easily get 8-9 hours of screen time, but now it's tough to manage. I think switching to an iPhone could help me get back on track.

You might want to consider a OnePlus phone. They’re budget-friendly and offer incredible battery life. I’ve been using my OnePlus 12 for two years without thinking about an upgrade!

I did think about OnePlus, but unfortunately, the support for non-Apple or Samsung phones is really lacking in my country. It's just not practical for me at the moment.
