I'm having issues creating new resource mailboxes, like room or equipment calendars, in M365 Exchange Online. I keep getting the error: "Error executing request. An Azure Active Directory call was made to keep the object in sync between Azure Active Directory and Exchange Online. However, it failed. Detailed error message: Cannot convert a primitive value to the expected type 'Edm.Int64'." I've tried multiple times over several hours, but no luck. Since we're fully using Exchange Online without any on-premise Exchange, I expected mailbox creation events to show up in the Purview audit log, but there's nothing there, not even errors. Interestingly, modifications to existing resources work just fine; for instance, changing a display name updates it in Entra without issues. I checked the M365 admin center service health section, but everything seems normal. Has anyone else encountered this problem, particularly in the north EU?

Yeah, I'm seeing this issue too. At least I know it’s widespread. Maybe they'll send a notice out as soon as it's resolved, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
I feel your pain! I’ve been stuck on the same error for a few hours too. It's comforting in a frustrating way to know it’s not just me. I also checked the service health, and everything looks fine. Seems like a widespread issue right now!
Same here, I just logged a support ticket with Microsoft about two hours ago but haven’t heard back yet. I guess we’ll have to wait and see if they address this soon.
I had the same error when trying to create a shared mailbox after setting up a new tenant. Seems like Microsoft is having another rough patch. Let's hope they fix it quickly!
