Hey everyone! I'm 13 and really interested in artificial intelligence and machine learning. I've been checking out different programming languages and I've noticed that I'm not a big fan of Python, even though I'm not exactly sure why. I stumbled upon Julia, and I think it looks really interesting. I'm wondering if it's worth my time to learn Julia instead of sticking with Python?

It's never a waste to learn a new programming language, but you shouldn't overlook learning one that's more popular like Python. It has better community support and documentation. If you dive deep into Julia now, be ready to pick up Python later; many fields still rely heavily on it.

If you're excited about Julia, definitely pursue it! Enjoying what you're learning is key. Just remember that while Julia is powerful, especially for ML tasks, you might run into limitations with its ecosystem compared to Python. But balance is important; try to learn the basics of both when you're ready!

Julia isn't super common yet, but those who use it really seem to enjoy it. It’s especially good for math-related tasks. Give it a shot; you've got plenty of time to explore different languages and find what fits you best!

At your age, exploring different languages is awesome! Julia is great for scientific computing and ML, but keep in mind that most resources and support will be in Python. If you enjoy Julia and want to go for it, do it! Just know you can always learn Python later, especially for those specific libraries you'll need for AI.

Honestly, I think it's more beneficial to learn Python first. It has a huge community and loads of resources, especially for AI and machine learning. You might struggle with Julia as a beginner since most tutorials and libraries are in Python. Once you get your footing in coding, you might find transitioning to Julia easier later on, but start with Python for now!
