I just got a used Blu-ray player, but it's still linked to the previous owner's Wi-Fi. I don't have the remote, so what are my options for getting it connected to my Wi-Fi instead?

Just a heads up, a lot of Blu-ray players can connect to the Internet for streaming and updates, so you might want to find out if yours has any settings that let you switch networks without a remote. But if not, yeah, you’re probably looking at getting a new remote or a new player.
If you can find out the brand and model of your Blu-ray player, that would help a lot! Sometimes the remote from another player of the same brand will work too. But honestly, if it's going to cost you more to find a remote than just getting a new player, you might want to consider that instead.
You might want to reach out to the previous owner if they're nearby to see if they can give you the remote. It could save you some time and hassle since they probably know the system well!
The best bet is to get a universal remote that supports your Blu-ray player model. If the player uses infrared (IR), you can use a universal remote with the right code to change the Wi-Fi settings. Without a remote, there's not much you can do, unless you can somehow factory reset the player or get a replacement remote.
