First Time PC Build: What Should I Keep or Change?

I'm putting together my first gaming PC and have chosen some components, but I'm flexible and open to suggestions. My primary use will be gaming with titles like Baldur's Gate 3, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Elden Ring, along with some basic 3D modeling software for school. I want something mid-range that won't require constant upgrades. Here's my current build list, which I'm hoping to optimize to save some cash without sacrificing quality. My budget is around $2200. Any advice on my choices, especially for the motherboard, power supply, and cooling, would be super helpful!

The cooler you picked might not be the best option for your needs. Check out this list from Gamers Nexus for better alternatives that fit your build. You might find a more cost-effective yet efficient cooler there!

Are you close to a Micro Center? If so, it's definitely worth a visit! You can often score some great deals there that wouldn't be available online. Plus, you can see the components firsthand before making any purchases.

I'm about 2.5 hours away. Do you think the trip is worth it? Any specific items I should look for?
