Hey everyone! I'm currently using an RTX 3060 and I've been contemplating an upgrade, but I'm hesitant because I would need a new power supply, which is only around 550 or 600 watts. My CPU is an i7 12900K, which is pretty old now, and I have 32GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR4 RAM at 3600MHz. Given this setup, do you think it's worth upgrading my GPU, or should I just save up for a completely new PC?

Your i7 12900K is still a great CPU, and considering RAM prices, I'd stick with that. Your CPU can handle an upgrade nicely! Aim for at least a 9060XT 16GB, or if you prefer NVIDIA, look at the 5060TI 16GB. The 9060XT is probably the best value. Just ensure your PSU can handle it—check the Techpowerup GPU database for recommended wattages.

Thanks for the tip! By the way, I've noticed some apps freezing after my PC has been in sleep mode for too long. Does that sound like a software issue or just my system?
