Why is my laptop’s CPU usage so low?

Hey everyone! I've noticed that my Acer Nitro 5 laptop has been showing really low CPU usage lately—sometimes as low as 3% even when I'm just watching movies or playing games. Usually, it peaks around 20-30%, but I'm not sure if this is a problem. The GPU seems to be working fine, though. Is there something wrong, and how can I fix this?

Low CPU usage is pretty common with modern processors—they're powerful enough that they often don't need to ramp up unless things get really demanding. If you’re not experiencing any slowdowns, it's likely not an issue. But if you do notice performance drops, check your thermal and battery settings or any background software that might be running.

I get what you're saying, but I find it weird because before last week, my CPU would idle at around 40% and could spike to 90% while gaming. Now it’s just super low. I've had this laptop for about 3 years and it just feels off. Sometimes it even freezes on me.
