Hey everyone! I'm looking to build a new PC and need some feedback. I don't have prior experience in PC building, and after reaching out in a few groups without much luck, I decided to do my own research.
My main uses for the PC will be gaming and editing. While I already have a PS5 for most AAA games, there are some titles that aren't available on it, and I want a PC that can handle those when needed. I usually play low-demand indie games but still want it to manage AAA games smoothly.
For editing, I'll be using Adobe software, particularly After Effects, and I dabble in Blender, so I need a machine that can handle rendering and animations without a hiccup.
Here's what I'm considering for my build:
- CPU: Ryzen 5 7500F
- GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 5070Ti Shadow X3 OC GDDR7 16GB
- RAM: 32GB 6000Hz 30CL
- SSD: 4TB/2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 (not set on a brand yet)
- Motherboard: Sapphire Pulse B850M WiFi AM5
- PSU: 750W/850W 80+ Gold (brand undecided)
- Case and cooling: No final decisions yet; I'm open to recommendations.
I'm aiming for a budget around $3200 but can flex a bit if necessary. Would love to hear your thoughts and any suggestions for improvements! Thanks!

With your budget and needs, I would recommend going for something like an Intel 14900K. It outperforms AM5 options in the tasks you mentioned. For the GPU, stick with the 5070Ti for the best price-to-performance ratio.
You might also want to consider 64GB of DDR5 RAM if you plan on heavy editing, though 32GB could work for now. A good SSD would be the WD Blue SN5000 for fast read/write speeds, and getting a good cooling solution, like an Arctic Liquid Freezer 360, will help keep your CPU cool during heavy tasks. All of this should get you around $3000 after taxes, which is ideal!

Thanks for the input! I was surprised about the 64GB recommendation—seemed like 32GB would suffice, but I guess it makes sense for editing and rendering!
