I'm having trouble with my Ethernet connection. It's plugged in, and my device shows it's connected to Wi-Fi, but there's no internet access. The internet indicator is blinking red and green. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this issue?

Have you tried rebooting your router? This can often resolve connection issues. If not, you might want to check your network settings. Go to the Control Panel, then Network and Internet, and find Change Adapter Options. Right-click on your Ethernet adapter and go to properties. From there, try setting a static DNS, like Google's (8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4) and disable IPv6 if it's on. After that, disable and re-enable your adapter.
First off, make sure your Wi-Fi is turned off while troubleshooting the Ethernet. Sometimes your device will prioritize Wi-Fi over Ethernet if both are active. Check that the Ethernet cable is securely plugged in at both ends. If that doesn’t work, consider trying a different Ethernet cable just to rule that out.
Sometimes a simple off and on again can solve network problems! But really, if you’re still having issues, make sure to check your cables and connections. You might also find that resetting the router and your device could do the trick.
