I recently powered on my PC and noticed that my keyboard and mouse weren't responding. After checking, I found that the USB ports (the blue USB 3.0 ones) weren't working at all. I'm running Windows 11, and my motherboard is the MSI B650 Gaming Plus WiFi. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers via Device Manager, but that hasn't solved the issue. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

I had a similar problem and found a fix! Here’s what I did to get my USB ports working again:
1. Open the Device Manager.
2. Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers section.
3. Look for any USB device marked with an exclamation point, often labeled as "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)."
4. Check its properties for error code 43, which means it's malfunctioning.
5. Uninstall that USB device.
6. Shut down your PC, unplug it for about 15 seconds, then plug it back in.
7. Boot it back up, and it should work! Give it a try!
Are you making sure to restart your PC after uninstalling the USB drivers? Sometimes a reboot is needed for changes to take effect.
