I'm looking to upgrade my GPU from a 1070 Ti and I have a setup with 64 GB of DDR4 and an i9-10850K. Here in the Middle East, the 5070 is priced around $800 while the 5070 Ti goes for about $1410. I mostly game and want to play at medium to high settings, ideally on a 4K monitor, and I'm also curious about how much better the Ti version really is compared to the standard 5070. Should I consider AMD GPUs as alternatives even though I like Nvidia's features?

The 5070 Ti definitely offers better performance and more VRAM. But you didn't mention what type of games you're playing. If you’re playing at a 4K resolution, it may be more noticeable. Just keep in mind the price difference; is that performance boost worth it for you?
It really depends on your budget! At $1410, the 5070 Ti seems overpriced. If you're encountering stuttering with your current setup on 4K, a better option might be the 5070, or even looking towards AMD's equivalents like the 9070, which might give you more VRAM for a similar price. Just remember, pairing it with an aging CPU can limit performance too.
I'd say go for the 5070. The Ti might not be worth over $1,000, especially considering you mentioned potential CPU limitations. If you're able to play on medium to high settings already, the 5070 should suffice for your needs, especially without breaking the bank.
If you're set on 4K, then sure, the Ti might give you a bit of a boost, but looking at prices, I'd lean towards the 5070 or even consider a 9070. Honestly, the value just isn't there for the Ti at that price!
