Help! My Microsoft Store Has Been Broken for 2 Years and I Can’t Fix It

I've been dealing with a frustrating issue where my Microsoft Store has displayed the error "Try again: Something happened on our end" for the last two years. This error prevents updates for modern apps and blocks any installations of `.msix` or `.appxbundle` files. I've received various error codes, including `0x80073CFD` when trying manual installs via PowerShell and `0x80073D02` when attempting to re-register the Store.

I've done a lot of troubleshooting, including a Windows 11 Repair Install using the official ISO, creating a new user profile, using PowerShell commands to re-register the Store, modifying registry settings, and resetting services and folders related to updates. Despite all these efforts, the issue remains unresolved. I'm starting to think this might be a deeper permissions issue or a missing dependency that the repair process overlooks. I really want to avoid formatting my system entirely if there's a solution available. Any suggestions for a "nuclear" fix that could help?

Before throwing in the towel, make sure you’re running the latest version of Windows. Your Windows 11 seems to be on 22H2, and 25H2 is already out. Updating might clear up some underlying issues. Also, when the error occurs, try checking the Event Viewer for more detailed error messages that might give you clues on what's going wrong. Have you run the troubleshooter for Microsoft Store apps yet? It could be a simple fix hiding in there.

I'm facing the same UI issue. Only the "try again" button appears, and no other options show up. Are you sure the troubleshooter will help?

Wow, two years without a solution sounds exhausting! If running an ISO repair didn’t fix the problem, it might be indicative of a hardware issue rather than software. Sometimes, persistent software issues can mean it's time to consider more drastic measures. Have you thought about starting fresh and doing a full wipe? It sounds tough, but it could be the quickest way to eliminate any unfixable problems.
