Hey everyone, my team needs to ship used laptops to contractors in Ukraine from the U.S. Given the current situation with the conflict, it feels nearly impossible to arrange this. UPS claims they can do it, but we've heard mixed experiences from others. What shipping services have you all used for this type of thing? Also, how do you handle the process of getting the devices back to the U.S. later on? Any advice would be really appreciated!

Honestly, I'd advise against shipping them directly. You face so many issues, like local keyboard layouts, warranty challenges, plus the outrageous customs fees and the risk of laptops getting lost or stuck at customs. If you do proceed, maybe go with DHL or UPS; they eventually get stuff there, but it can be a hassle.

UPS said they're not handling it. My main concern is how we’d manage the billing back for duties and fees. I get your point, but if you want lower-cost support, these expenses are expected; it's still often cheaper than hiring elsewhere.
