I'm currently using a GT 1030 and I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card. I'm considering either the RTX 3070 or the RX 6700 XT. My setup includes a Ryzen 5 5600 processor and a 700W power supply. I primarily play games at 1080p and 1440p resolutions. Which of these graphics cards would be a better fit for my system?

Just a heads up, the GT 1030 doesn't require power cables, so I'm wondering if your PSU is really up to the task. Make sure it's solid enough for an upgrade, as that could be a potential issue.
I recommend going with the RTX 3070. It offers DLSS support, which can significantly extend the lifespan of the GPU as games evolve over time. Plus, it's a solid performer at 1080p and 1440p.
But the 3070 only has 8GB of VRAM, which might restrict performance at 1440p. The 3080 would handle higher resolutions much better!

Absolutely! If your budget allows, keep an eye out for a used 3080 or 3080 Ti. Those cards are absolute beasts and would be a fantastic upgrade for gaming even now.
