I'm working with a Dell Windows Server 2019 that's connecting to Dell storage over iSCSI through a switch. Currently, the iSCSI initiator is set up with NIC 1 using IP address .75. I'm looking to change the connection to NIC 2, which has the IP address .85. Is there a way to make this switch without losing access to my volumes or experiencing any data loss?

Make sure to check your iSCSI access controls. Are you using the same IQN? Are both IPs in the same subnet? If the answer is yes to those and your ACLs are not strict, making the switch should go smoothly.
It's a good idea to plan for this transition during a maintenance window. Properly shutting down anything that uses the iSCSI connection or migrating it to another host can help. Once you're sure nothing is utilizing the iSCSI on that server, you can proceed with the switch. Just leave enough time for testing and troubleshooting to ensure everything works smoothly afterward.
One approach is to add the second NIC to your iSCSI configuration for load balancing or as a failover. If everything checks out after the switch, you can then safely remove the old NIC. Remember to perform this during maintenance and ensure that any sensitive systems are shut down or prepared for a possible disconnection.
You might want to enable MPIO (Multi-Path I/O) for better handling of network changes. Just keep in mind, activating MPIO could require a reboot, so plan accordingly.
