I just upgraded from an RTX 2070 Super to an RTX 5070, but I'm not noticing a significant difference in performance. I play at a resolution of 2560 x 1440. I did realize that I can run Forza Horizon 5 on extreme settings at 150 fps, which seems decent, right?

Most games heavily rely on just one or two cores, so it might look like you're only using 18% of your CPU, but it could mean a core or two are maxed out. The i9-11900K would be the best upgrade for your socket (LGA 1200), but I don’t think it’s worth it unless you really need higher fps. If you're hitting good fps now, just crank up those graphics settings and enjoy!
Have you checked if your CPU is overheating? That could definitely affect performance. Sometimes, thermal issues make a big difference in how your CPU performs under load.
If you don’t mind spending a bit more, consider that upgrading your RAM to DDR5 could yield some improvements, but at 1440p, the gains might be minimal unless you’re investing $400-500. Just keep that in mind!
I don't really know much about RAM. Is DDR4 going to hinder my performance? I'm running at 3200 MT/s with just 16 GB. Should I be worried about that?
Your CPU's still pretty solid! You might want to check what percentages your CPU and GPU are running at while you game. Knowing how they perform can really help figure out if your CPU is the bottleneck.

Thanks for the insight! I just tested a GPU-heavy game at max settings and hit 150 fps with my GPU at 99% usage. I think I'm doing alright! Maybe I’ll just keep it how it is for now.
