I'm trying to decide between the Corsair RM1200e (2023) and the Be Quiet! PURE Power 13M 1200W for my build. The prices are pretty much the same, so I'm more interested in which one has better reliability and lifespan. I've always thought of Be Quiet! as being super dependable, like the Nokia of electronics, but I've seen some recent complaints about defects in their models. On the other hand, I've heard mixed things about Corsair as well. I'm already using a lot of Corsair peripherals, so that's pulling me toward them a bit. If you've had experience with either of these power supplies, could you help clarify which one would be the better choice? Just to be clear, I'm open to either brand if Be Quiet! turns out to be the superior option.

Hey there! Just a heads up, the Pure Power 13M 1200W has an 85°C bulk capacitor, which isn't the best. Depending on which country you're in, there might be other options too!
I've had solid experiences with the Corsair RM series over the years. The integration with their ecosystem is a big plus, especially if you already have their gear.
That makes sense! I was just unsure since PSUs don’t usually have software integration. But better value usually means a better choice, right?
If you're looking for alternatives, you could also consider the Lian Li SX1200P or the Aorus Elite 1200W. They're both platinum rated and might give you better value at that price point.
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll definitely check those out!

I'm in the UK!
