Hey everyone! I'm planning to get an MSI MPG 272URX 27" 4K 240Hz OLED monitor and I'm wondering if my current setup can handle playing Cyberpunk 2077 effectively. Here's what I've got:
- RTX 5070 Ti GPU
- Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU
I'm looking to play at 4K resolution with path tracing enabled, using DLSS Quality and maybe frame generation if necessary. Do you all think this is a realistic setup, or is aiming for 4K a bit too ambitious for my GPU?

The 5070 Ti can manage 4K, but there will be trade-offs. As long as your expectations aren’t sky-high, you can still enjoy the game. If you want to really maximize your experience, though, you'll need at least a 5080 for better settings or a 5090 for top-tier performance.
I have a similar setup to you with a 4K 240Hz OLED and a 5080. You can hit 60 FPS without frame generation, but you'll have to turn the settings down from quality to performance to achieve that while maintaining path tracing. Using DLSS Quality might lead to low base FPS, making frame generation less effective.
I wouldn't stick strictly to DLSS Quality at 4K. With newer cards, you'll find performance is much better, especially with ray tracing and path tracing, which can really tax your GPU. Just try using DLSS Performance Mode along with frame generation, and you'll likely be in a good spot. Also, check out mods like ultraplus to tweak path tracing settings for either performance or visuals. With my older GPU at 1440p, I averaged over 110 FPS on some tweaks, and my setup isn’t as powerful as yours!

Thanks for the insight! I figured I'd need to tweak settings a bit. Any suggestions on what specific settings to lower?
