I'm looking for help with an issue I'm having with Family Link. About six months ago, I gave my 10-year-old daughter one of my old phones so she could keep in touch with both her parents. I paid for the phone data, and I have Family Link set up through my Gmail account, which is linked to her own Gmail account, for which I control the password.
Recently, my daughter accidentally left her phone at her dad's house, and I wanted to turn on "Downtime" to restrict usage while she was there, as he has a habit of going through her messages to me, making her uncomfortable. However, when I checked the Family Link app, her device was no longer listed, and it prompted me to add her device again.
I'm wondering if this is a glitch on Google's end or if someone possibly removed her device from Family Link. Is it technically possible for her dad to have done this, or could it have been removed due to some sort of error? I want to be sure before I address any concerns with him.
