I'm a 14-year-old freshman in high school looking to become a full-stack software engineer. I'm going to early college next year, and I want to know the best programming languages and classes I should focus on to improve my chances of getting hired in the future. Any advice would be really appreciated!

The best way to get started is to build real projects. It helps you learn while creating something others can use. Try starting with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for web development. Once you're comfortable, move on to learning a back-end language like Node.js or Python really helps too. Even better, get involved in some small group projects or open-source work to get experience!

Sounds great! But can you give me examples of projects I could work on? Like, should they be personal projects or something else?

If I were you, I'd recommend taking your time with college. Instead of rushing into it, consider doing part-time classes at a community center that focuses on programming. My son did this before college, and it really prepped him well. It's not just about the coding; it's about being ready for the whole experience.

I get that, but I’m balancing sports and friends too, so I want to make the most of my time in college just for the learning part.
