Hi folks! I'm running a PC with a Ryzen 5600G, RTX 4060, 16GB of RAM, a B550M motherboard, and a 600W power supply. I've got about €500 to €600 to spend on upgrades, and I'm open to selling some of my current components to boost my budget. I'm hoping you can provide some advice on how to get the most out of this upgrade. Thanks in advance!

If you're into graphics-heavy AAA games like Cyberpunk or Black Myth, you might want to sell your 4060 and pick up a 5070. However, if you prefer lighter games like Valorant, a 5500X3D from Aliexpress could be a better fit. Depending on how much you sell your current gear for, you might even be able to upgrade both at once!

I'd suggest upgrading both your CPU and GPU. For your budget, a 9060XT would give you the best upgrade. I’d usually recommend a 9070 16GB, but that's a bit pricier. If you can find used cards like the 3080 or 4070, they would provide a nice boost in performance too. Check out this part list for some options!

You could simply upgrade your CPU to the 5700X or 5800XT. The 5600G has 16MB of L3 cache, while both the 5700X and 5800XT have 32MB, which would help with performance. Your other components seem good enough. If you want to upgrade your GPU too, a 16GB 9060 can pair well with those CPUs!

Do I need to change my cooler for the 5800X?

Is there really a 9060 with 16GB? I thought it was only the XT that had that.
