I'm looking to buy a pre-built PC and I've found two potential builds available in my area. I understand that prices are a bit inflated due to local market conditions, but I've checked multiple sellers, and the prices are pretty consistent. Here are the details of the two builds:

**Build 1:**
- GPU: Zotac 5090
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9900
- RAM: 48GB DDR5 Corsair with AMD EXPO
- Storage: 2TB M.2 NVMe Kingston NV3
- Cooler: Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360 Core II RGB
- Case: XPG STARKER AIR BTF ATX with 3 front fans
- PSU: Gamdias Helios P2, 1000W 80 Plus Gold
- **Price:** $7,136

**Build 2:**
- GPU: Asus ROG Strix 5090
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950
- RAM: 48GB Corsair
- Storage: 1TB SSD Crucial T500
- PSU: Asus ROG Thor, 1200W
- Case: Cougar Duoface
- **Price:** $8,500

I'm open to any help or comments on which build would be the better option!

Just to clarify, did you mean the Ryzen 9 9900 or could it possibly be the 9950 variant?

It's definitely the 9900, thanks for the heads up!

Those prices seem pretty steep for pre-built rigs. You might want to check on the motherboard specs too, especially if they’re using something outdated with these components. With the current prices, I was expecting at least Gen 5 M.2 SSDs. Just curiously, is there really no way to order individual parts to Colombia? That could save you some money!

I looked into ordering parts, but the pricing was pretty similar in local markets or even on Amazon.

What’s your main use for the PC? Are you focused on gaming or maybe productivity tasks? That can greatly influence your decision!

I'm mainly looking for a gaming rig.
