USB Keyboard Causing Random Key Presses and Mouse Issues – Need Help!

Hey everyone! I'm having a weird problem with my ASUS F571GT laptop. Whenever I plug in my USB keyboard (an Ant Master 01), it starts acting up. Specifically, it presses keys on its own and opens the Windows menu randomly. Sometimes it even causes my USB mouse to malfunction. I've tried using the keyboard on another laptop, and it works perfectly fine, so I don't think the problem is with the keyboard itself. When I unplug it, everything goes back to normal. I'm not sure if this is related to a driver issue, a problem with the USB port, or something else entirely. Has anyone experienced this before or have any ideas on how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated! 🙏

I had a similar situation before with a different laptop. It turned out to be a power issue. Sometimes the keyboard tries to draw more power than the USB port can provide. If you have another keyboard, see if it behaves the same way. If it doesn't, it might be worth looking into a powered USB hub!

It sounds like there might be a conflict with the USB ports or drivers on your laptop. You could try updating the USB drivers through Device Manager or checking if there’s any firmware available for your laptop. Sometimes, USB hubs can cause problems too, so try connecting the keyboard directly to the laptop. If nothing works, trying another USB port or using a powered USB hub might help! Let me know how it goes!

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll give that a shot and see if it resolves the issue.
