I'm wondering if anyone has managed to remove the default Report button marked with a red exclamation mark in Outlook (both New and Classic versions, as well as the Web app). I reached out to Microsoft Support, and they claimed it couldn't be done, but I've come across various articles suggesting otherwise. Can anyone share their experience or the method they used to successfully remove this button recently? Just to clarify, this button is used for reporting phishing and junk emails. I found an article that mentions two methods to disable the different Report buttons in Outlook, and it looks like the Defender option is straightforward for removal. I get where you're coming from! While you're at it, you might also want to check the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. I've heard that some folks are having trouble removing the old "Report Message" add-in after they've already removed it from the admin side. It's causing confusion with both the old and new reporting features showing up. Good luck!

Totally! I found that under the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, go to Settings > Integrated apps. You might need to browse through there to find the app and scope the uninstall. Let me know if that helps!
