How Can I Improve Hotel Wifi for My PC?

I'm currently on a work trip at an IHG hotel and the wifi here is really bad—like under 1 Mbps for both upload and download. The IHG app on my iPhone and iPad has a feature called 'WIFI Auto Connect' that connects me to a better network, but I can't connect my PC to it because the login info is passpoint encoded and only available through the app. I tried using BlueStacks to run the app on my PC, but it took forever and wouldn't install the IHG app. I'm looking for any solutions or workarounds to get better internet access so I can actually do my work. Any suggestions?

Have you checked if there’s an Ethernet port in your room? That's usually a lifesaver. If it’s not activated, ask the front desk; they might be able to enable it or connect you with IT support. Make sure to provide any labels from the port—it could help speed things up!

I didn’t know about the Ethernet option! I'll definitely give that a shot. Not sure if I can get IT help, though. Thanks for the tip!
