I'm looking for a simple video editor to help me trim, combine, and compress clips from my screen recorder's instant replay. I want something easy to use with a good interface, especially since I'm just a beginner. Also, I use CachyOS, so any recommendations should ideally work well with that.

You should definitely check out LosslessCut! It's really straightforward for quickly cutting your replays, and it's perfect for what you need.

Kdenlive is another great option! It's user-friendly, and I picked it up really fast, even without previous editing experience. Plus, it offers a variety of features for future projects if you want to dive deeper!

If you're interested, Pitivi is a good choice too! Check it out if you're looking for something that's easy to navigate.
