I'm looking for a simple video editor to help me trim, combine, and compress clips from my screen recorder's instant replay. I want something easy to use with a good interface, especially since I'm just a beginner. Also, I use CachyOS, so any recommendations should ideally work well with that.

You should definitely check out LosslessCut! It's really straightforward for quickly cutting your replays, and it's perfect for what you need.
Don’t overlook Openshot! It’s pretty cool and easy to get started with.
Kdenlive is another great option! It's user-friendly, and I picked it up really fast, even without previous editing experience. Plus, it offers a variety of features for future projects if you want to dive deeper!
Thanks for the heads up! I really need something that won't overwhelm me.
If you're interested, Pitivi is a good choice too! Check it out if you're looking for something that's easy to navigate.

Yeah, I've heard good things about Openshot too. It might be worth a try!
