I'm considering which graphics card to buy for my gaming setup optimized for 1440p at 144Hz. I've looked through various threads, but prices in Austria are different. Here are my options with their prices: 9070 16GB for €560, 5070 12GB for €590, and 9070 XT 16GB for €650. I'm focused solely on gaming performance, not AI or workstation tasks. Given these options, what offers the best value for my needs?

What games are you looking to play? And what settings will you use? That could affect your choice significantly.
If value is your goal, I’d say the 9070 (non-XT) is your best bet. It usually outperforms the 5070, and the 16GB VRAM ensures good longevity and higher settings for many future titles. However, if you think ray tracing is something you'll use, the 9070 XT is also worth considering.
Honestly, it mainly comes down to the 9070 vs. 9070 XT. Both give excellent performance and value, but they're faster than the 5070.
I would personally go for the 9070. It generally outperforms the 5070 slightly, and the performance is almost on par when you enable ray tracing. In terms of value, it’s the best pick for your setup.
If ray tracing isn't your main concern, the AMD card might be a better deal for value and performance. I’m building a high-end 1440p setup too, and I’ve been mulling over these options for a while.

Does it really matter about specific games? I'm more curious about general performance for 1440p at 144Hz with high graphics settings.
