How Can I Speed Up My Computer for Gaming?

I'm having trouble with my computer's performance while playing a game I really enjoy. It ran smoothly before, but now it lags a lot and drops to around 8-10 fps, which makes it unplayable. I've checked to make sure my drivers are up to date, and I haven't changed anything that might have caused this slowdown. I'm not sure what else to do to fix the issue.

Could you let us know more about your setup? What specific computer and operating system are you using? Knowing the game you're playing would also help!

First, it’s a good idea to run a malware check to make sure there’s nothing malicious slowing you down. Also, try closing any unnecessary background applications or services that might be hogging your resources. You could use a game booster app, like OMEN GAMING HUB, to help optimize performance. By the way, which game are you trying to play and what are your specs?

Sure! I'm on an HP Victus with Windows 11. My specs include an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050, Intel Core i5-13420H, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD. The game I'm having issues with is Trident Survival on Roblox. What do you think?
