Hey everyone! I just got a new PC, but since it doesn't have a WLAN card, I can't connect to Wi-Fi. My router is also too far for a LAN connection, and I bought a USB Nano WLAN stick, but my PC doesn't recognize it because I need to download the drivers first—obviously, I can't do that without internet. What would be the best way to get this sorted? Sorry if this seems like a silly question; I feel a bit lost. Thanks for any help!

If you're really stuck, another idea is to download the drivers on another computer, then transfer them to your new PC using a USB flash drive. It’s a bit more work, but it definitely works!
Another option is to tether your phone to your PC if your phone allows it. You can use your mobile data to download the drivers. Just be careful of data limits!
One solid option is to move your PC closer to the router temporarily. Connect it via LAN, download the necessary drivers for your WLAN stick, and then you can set it up back in your desired location. It might sound like a hassle, but it's a straightforward solution!
Yeah, that's probably the easiest way to do it without complicating things too much.
Otherwise, you could always return that USB stick and invest in a Wi-Fi-to-Ethernet bridge. It will treat your connection like a wired one, but connect wirelessly to your router. Just a thought!
You should consider buying a decent USB WLAN stick that supports plug and play; many of them don't require drivers for Windows 11 as they come pre-loaded. That might save you some headaches!
I've heard some of the newer USB sticks are really user-friendly, so that might be a good route!

I tried that, but my iPhone doesn’t connect via USB, and I think I need drivers for that too.
