Why Did My Wi-Fi Slow Down After Installing a Second SSD?

I recently added a second SSD to my laptop, and now my Wi-Fi is acting up. I usually get around 80-90 Mbps, but now it's barely hitting 10 Mbps, and at times, it drops to Kbps! Occasionally, it spikes to about 55 Mbps but then drops back down. Did I accidentally mess something up?

It sounds like you might have accidentally unplugged or damaged your Wi-Fi antenna while working inside the laptop. Make sure to check if the little black wire that connects to the NVME card is still attached; it's super easy to knock it off during installation.

As others mentioned, it's likely that one or both of your antennas got unplugged when you installed the new SSD. While there's a small chance that the new SSD is causing some interference, it's way more probable that the antennas aren't connected anymore.

Thanks for the tips! I'll open it up again and check those connections.
