I'm having a frustrating issue with my SSD. About a month ago, I got a Samsung 990 Pro that started showing a critical device error, causing my computer to crash while gaming. I replaced it with a new 990 Pro and did a fresh install of Windows, which worked perfectly for about a month - no crashes, and I could game for hours. However, now I'm facing the same crashing issue with the new SSD. My games freeze, sound drops, and my computer crashes without generating any mini dump files. I'm wondering if this is caused by a Windows update or if I've just had terrible luck with two faulty SSDs. How is it possible for my new SSD to fail after just a month? I'm pretty sure it's not other hardware since everything was fine after I replaced the old drive, but I'm starting to doubt my luck here.

You might want to check the SMART stats for both your old and new drives. It's possible you just happened to get two bad SSDs, but I'd lean towards the idea that there could be another issue affecting your system. Just because the first swap seemed to fix everything doesn't mean it was the SSD's fault. You might need to dig a bit deeper into what's causing these crashes.
Make sure you're using Samsung Magician to check that your SSD has the latest firmware installed. Also, consider sharing the output from CrystalDiskInfo. The last time you had this issue, it may have just been a problem with your old Windows installation and not necessarily the SSD.
