What should I upgrade for better gaming performance?

Hey everyone! I had a friend build my PC back in 2020, and I'm looking to upgrade some components because I'm struggling to run newer games like Tainted Grail and the Oblivion remaster. I suspect my GPU might be too outdated. Here are my current specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600, GPU: Radeon RX580, RAM: 32GB. I've been advised to consider getting an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 with 8GB, but I'm not sure if that's a solid choice for me.

Yeah, definitely start with the GPU upgrade. Also, think about upgrading your CPU eventually — the Ryzen 3600 is starting to show its age. If you can only do one right now, focus on the GPU first.

Do you think the NVIDIA RTX 4060 would be a good fit for me? I can only afford to upgrade one part right now.

Upgrading your GPU is definitely the way to go! If you’re okay with buying used, a GTX 3060 with 12GB or a 3070 would be fantastic options too. The RTX 4060 would also work well for your needs!
