I've been noticing that my CPU temps are sitting between 60-70°C even when the system is idle. While gaming, it skyrockets to around 90-100°C, which is a real concern since my PC is only about 7 months old. The issues began a few months ago when my computer would unexpectedly shut down during gaming sessions. I'm wondering if this could be due to thermal paste issues, dust buildup, or possibly low voltage. What steps can I take to diagnose and fix this problem? Here are my specs: Ryzen 7 7700X, Lian Li Galahad II Lite 360mm cooler, 850W 80+ Bronze PSU, Gigabyte B650M motherboard, and a 5070 Ti graphics card.

First off, make sure your AIO cooler is installed correctly. If you haven’t removed the plastic film from the cooler, that could seriously impact contact. Your temps are definitely alarming, and it sounds like your CPU is shutting down due to overheating to protect itself. Check everything to ensure it's seated properly!

I took a look and the cooler seems to be making contact, but the screws are stuck, so I can't fully verify it. I wasn’t sure if they removed the film since it was built when I bought it. Could thermal paste really degrade that quickly in just 7 months?
