Why is my left AirPod losing battery so much faster than the right one?

I've noticed something strange with my AirPods. Whenever I use them, the left one dies significantly faster than the right one. After keeping track of the usage, I found that in the same amount of time, the left AirPod consumes about 80% of its battery while the right only uses 40%. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Yeah, tiny batteries can really wear down! Just like TechGuru said, if you’ve had them for a while, that could be the problem. But also, make sure both are charged completely. You might have a faulty battery in the left one too.

It sounds like a battery issue, which isn't uncommon with wireless earbuds. How long have you had them? If it's been over a year or so, that may explain the discrepancy—batteries can wear out over time. Also, do you fully charge both AirPods to 100% before using them?
