I'm currently using a B660M-A DDR4 WiFi motherboard with an Intel i5-12400 processor and 32GB of Corsair DDR4 RAM. My current GPU is a GTX 3060. Due to recent security concerns regarding the Rowhammer exploit, I want to switch to an AMD GPU because I've learned that IOMMU doesn't protect against it, while ECC does—but the 3060 lacks ECC support. I need a GPU that performs as well or better than my current one and is suitable for 3D modeling. It should also be available at trusted Canadian retailers (excluding Amazon) and preferably work with my existing setup. However, I'm also considering an AM5 compatible GPU if it proves to be a better choice in the long run. I considered the 6700 XT, but it seems tough to find in reliable Canadian stores, and I only came across a sketchy listing on Amazon. I'm also thinking about saving for a 9070 XT and launching an AM5 build later, but with current market prices, I'm worried it'll take too long to save up. If anyone has suggestions for an AMD GPU that matches or exceeds the performance of the 3060, works well with 3D software, is budget-friendly compared to the 9070 XT, and is available from reputable Canadian retailers, I'd appreciate your input.

If your motherboard is indeed compatible, going for the 9070 XT makes a lot of sense. It's a solid match for a high-performance build, and you can pair it with a newer Intel CPU like the 14600K later on. Just keep in mind that if you're looking to switch to AM5 boards in the future, you'll want to consider that as well when making a final choice.

Just a heads-up, the 9070 XT isn't compatible with your current B660M-A motherboard, so you might want to check for alternatives or consider upgrading your motherboard to something that supports AM5.
