Best Mid-Tier CPU and GPU Options for a New PC Build

Hey everyone! I'm putting together a PC for my partner and it's been a minute since I've kept up with hardware trends. I'm aiming for a mid-tier setup and I already have some parts, including an 850W power supply, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 2K 165Hz IPS monitor. I'm also planning to get the 4000D Airflow case along with some cosmetic upgrades.

I'm unsure about which CPU and GPU would give the best bang for the buck right now, considering my budget is flexible, ranging from $1,000 to $2,000 for the whole build. The PC needs to handle games like Minecraft and Valorant at 165Hz.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations! Just a note, I don't live near a Microcenter, but I can find deals online if I know what to look for.

For your build, consider the Intel Arc B580 with either the Ryzen 7500F or 7600. They should deliver solid performance for your games.

Just a heads-up, make sure to list your budget if you're asking for specific recommendations. Oh, and mention if you’re near any big stores!

Your budget is actually more than enough for what you need! I'd suggest going with a 5070 GPU and a Ryzen 7800X3D CPU. Just make sure to add an AIO cooler, SSD, and a good motherboard to complete your build!
